End of Life Care
We believe “End of Life Care”, more commonly identified as Hospice care, is very important to the resident and family as well. The final days of a person’s life may be filled with joy or sorrow, with sharing memories with family and friends, or depending upon one’s beliefs, spending time with your religious leaders. For many, it is a time to be within the comfort and solitude of your own privacy.
This suite is for families with a loved one in an end of life situation. Recently updated with new amenities, our intent was to provide a warm and comfortable space for our resident, and his or her family during this transition.
Family members are welcome to spend the night as needed. Our staff will continue to offer beverages and snack items, but in addition, family will also be offered meals from a selective menu at a nominal charge. An adjacent lounge is also available.
The end of life suite is our way of providing some peace and comfort. Please make your needs known to the staff. We are here for you.
